I don’t normally get involved in reviews, but, on this occasion, I am compelled to. I spent hours and getting ever more frustrated at trying to provide tax returns requested by Barclays. In desperation, I called Karim to see if he could help. In his usual calm and ultra-professional manner – lead me through the not so friendly HMRC website and found the information. Even though some of these returns pre-date Karim’s involvement he did not ask if I had an appointment, sent me a pro-forma invoice or even mentioned charging for his assistance – he was just happy to help. By contrast, I deal with many solicitors who will not even talk to me unless I pay money upfront. This is good old-fashioned service which is rare and must be appreciated and supported.
